Together with Harley-Davidson we set out to develop a mobile app which would help brand reps facilitate lead conversion when interacting with customers at biking events. Data gathering was proving to be too much of a time drain for the marketing team, and language barriers presented occasional problems.
In the end, Harley-Davidson were looking for a reliable way to capture customer data securely and while naturally engaging their fan community.
Intellectsoft created an iPad app for Harley-Davidson’s exhibition staff, helping brand reps visually showcase product customizations through a “user mentor” feature that functions in more than 15 languages.
With the app, brand reps can seamlessly sign prospective clients up for newsletters, test rides, and more while the integration of SSL protocol ensures safe handling of all data. After the events, these customer insights could then be quickly synced with the company’s CRM database.
The app served to streamline Harley-Davidson’s event staging processes while consistently boosting customer intelligence. As a result, the company was able to greatly reduce its cost-per-lead, cut down on printed promotional materials, and increase positive customer interactions.
