London, UK – September 28, 2012 – Intellectsoft LTD the leader in mobile application development announces the launch of a healthcare app called RadAngel. The iOS-based application is a collaborative project of Kromek and Intellectsoft developed to detect radiation.
The Rad Angel app is a breakthrough in radiation detection industry as its bespoke RadBar™ display enables users to see exact information about the radioactive pollution, as well as identifies the source of radiation. The app is able to tell the difference between the natural sources of radiation and the ones that are artificially created using innovative semiconductor detector technology which was only available to government establishments before. The app uses Kromek’s bespoke RadBar™ and SDR™ technologies which enable it to identify the presence or absence of Cesium, as well as other radiation sources.
Please Note: The Rad Angel app will work only with the RadAngel detector connected via the audio jack of the iPad / iPhone. The abovementioned device can be purchased on www.radangel.jp.
How to use Rad Angel?
User should register and create his profile on the official Kromek website and enter the subsequent code into the appropriate app screen: this is how with the help of API the data will be uploaded to the user’s online profile. The app has easy-to-use intuitive interface enabling user to see not only the source of radiation, but the dose as well.
More details on the features of RadAngel can be found in the Intellectsoft portfolio.
RadAngel for iPad is available on AppStore now, as well as iPhone version free of charge.
