This Wednesday Apple has finally released much-anticipated iPhone 5 with new iOS6, sleek design, more powerful processor, sharper camera, etc.
Tim Cook, CEO at Apple and the key man at the presentation said that the new iOS6 is «the biggest things to happen to iPhone since iPhone».
Well, iOS 6 has lots of new interesting features indeed:
- New app to help you with any kinds of tickets online
- Some improvements in phone apps: smart reminder that’ll help you be more polite by reminding to call back when you’re free + “Do Not Disturb” with which you can silence all your incoming sms and calls or leave some VIP people out of the silence list
- Renewed Safari and selected photo sharing
- Changes in Mail: VIPs and available photo- and video sharing
- Siri becomes even cleverer: now it understands more languages and answers even more questions including cinema most worthy premiers, restaurants booking opportunities, the latest sports scores, etc.
- Integration with Facebook: though not as impressive as Apple promised it to be
- Guided access for your children: now you can control what buttons your kids can see and push on the screen
- New iOS 6 maps
- New OS will support larger phone screens
- Free apps without password, Bluetooth 4.0 and more
All in all, new iOS seems to be quite efficient and feature-packed which makes us even more excited. It will be out on Septemeber, 19 this year. The Intellectsoft development team just cannot wait to implement their technical savvy on a brand-new iOS 6 and take the best of this new OS.
As for the new iPhone 5 it is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than the last one. The screen is 4 inches and 1136X640 pixels. New device supports LTE connection standards and has a processor twice more powerful than the last version. Apple promises it’ll download photos 1.7 times faster, and music – 1.9 times faster. iPhone 5 will be able to work 225 hours without charging.
The presentation itself was spectacular and included positive statistics of Apple products sales, new version of iTunes and a brand-new iPod. In the culmination of event the public could enjoy Foo Fighters band performance.
