The popular UK news resource has launched Innovation Nation in cooperation with Virgin Media Business to choose and reward the most cutting-edge ideas in the spheres of customer service, bespoke working practices, frontline government services and collaboration.
This initiative is set to highlight the most prominent achievements in technology and development and only six companies or individuals will be showcased as being ahead of the curve.
The app Pocket Physio was shortlisted in the category “enterprise”. This application developed by Intellectsoft in partnership with UK Specialist Hospitals – practicing orthopedic provider — helps patients before or/and after hip or knee replacement surgery and ensures a complete speedy recovery. Pocket Physio features detailed video- , photo- and text- instructions to exercises, advice on walking with a frame or crutches, hip precautions, breathing exercises, managing pain and self-assessment, as well as recommended techniques for dressing, bathing and getting in and out of vehicles. Friendly interface and intuitive navigation makes app pretty easy to use. You can find out more about the app here. Besides Pocket Physio is available on iTunes.
According to the Guardian “being selected, or even making the shortlist, will mean you and your work are celebrated as the ultimate examples of the people and projects that are making the nation better.” The Intellectsoft team is happy and reasonably proud that the app we worked on is acknowledged on such a level. But the best thing about this all, that above all other apps the most progressive is the health application. We do think that health is the most precious gift and will continue doing our best to develop and implement innovative solutions in this area, as well as in all others.
